It’s that time of year again, when we start to settle into the school-run routine and the rainy autumn replaces the (slightly less rainy) summer. For most of us, driving with kids can be a trying experience in and of itself, but if something were to go wrong, even something as small as a flat tire or running out of petrol, the experience can go from bad to worse very very quickly.
Driving on long journeys with kids can be tiring and can be a distracting experience, this means that a minor accident, especially now that the weather is getting bad become more likely.
It might not seem like an obvious safety tip, but keeping your kids distracted and relaxed while on a car journey can be the best way to make sure you get where you’re going without any problems.
With this in mind, I’ll be running a competition on here until the end of October. The folks at RAC, the UK breakdown specialists have given me two prizes to give away to one lucky reader, a mediwrap family pack and first aid kit (follow the link for a description of these great prizes).
To be in with a chance of winning this competition, all you have to do is leave a comment below with your best idea for how to make travelling with children easier. Closes 1st November.
